Porto Franco is applying for the Building’s Energy Efficiency Certificate LEED Gold
06.03.2019

Porto Franco took the decision to build Porto Franco in accordance with the LEED Gold standards. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely recognised and used green building rating system in the world, and a building, which meets these standards, complies with the highest quality requirements in terms of environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, the building process and construction materials. Being based on certification processes and design solutions, the objectives of LEED projects are:

  • providing for environment-friendly transport access to the workplace
  • increasing resource efficiency
  • reducing energy and water consumption
  • improving waste management
  • reducing the environmental impact of construction works
  • improving the microclimate and work satisfaction

For the tenants of Porto Franco, the LEED Gold certificate serves as a guarantee that with the technological equipment we have selected for the project we can ensure that common costs are kept low, and that the project is energy efficient.

Porto Franco will be built according to LEED Gold requirements
